Brighter Futures for Older People
This scheme supports older people in the Sevenoaks and Edenbridge area, enabling them to stay independent in the community by providing them with access to a wide range of community-based services delivered by volunteers.
Older people receive help through activities such as:
- Driving - find out more about the driving service
- Stepping Out - exercise and social activities on a weekly basis
- Social outings in the Summer months
- Practical help eg shopping, form-filling, dog-walking, help with technology
- Provision of information about services for older people - call 01732 469000.
How to register with Brighter Futures:
There is a one-off Brighter Futures annual registration fee of £10. Once registered with Brighter Futures you will be entitled to make use of any of the Brighter Futures services.

Sevenoaks Brighter Futures is a service led by Sevenoaks and Edenbridge Volunteer Centres, partnered by Age Concern Sevenoaks, Social Services and South West Kent Primary Care Trust .
